Cisapride

Each mL containts:

Cisapride monohydrate equivalent to ................5 mg of Cisapride.

Vehicle q.s. .................. 1 mL

Each mL is equivalent to 20 drops and contains 5 mg of Cisapride.

Cis-A-Prid® is a gastrointestinal prokinetic indicated in canines, felines, equines and rabbits for the prophylactic and therapeutic treatment of digestive tract disorders such as: nausea, vomiting, esophagitis, gastritis, pylorospasm in puppies, idiopathic megaesophagus, gastric volvulus, constipation, paralytic ileus and postoperative paralytic ileu

Domestic canines and felines: 1 mL per 5 kg of body weight, equivalent to 1 mg of cisapride per kg of body weight.

Equines: 1 mL for 10 to 50 kg body weight, equivalent to 0.1 to 0.5 mg of cisapride per kg body weight.

Domestic rabbits: 1 to 4 drops per kg body weight, equivalent to 0.125 mg to 0.5 mg of cisapride per kg body weight.
Treatment is recommended every 8 to 12 hrs, during 1 to 5 days, at Veterinarian Doctor's discretion

Oral. Administer 30 minutes before food intake.
