Azithromycin

Antibiotic Powder for Oral Suspension

Each mL of the mixture contains:

Azithromycin ........................ 25mg

Vehicle qs ............................ 1 mL

Azitro-Vet®It is indicated for the treatment of abscesses, wounds, otitis, pyodermas, dental, respiratory, otorhinolaryngological, urogenital, digestive and osteoarticular infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to azithromycin.

Domestic dogs:0.4 mL orally per kg of body weight every 24 hours for a maximum of 5 days, equivalent to 10 mg of azithromycin per kg of body weight.
In coccidiosis: 1.2 mL oral per kg of body weight, equivalent to 30 mg of azithromycin per kg of body weight, two doses every 72 hrs.

Domestic felines:0.2 mL oral per kg body weight every 24 hours for a maximum of 5 days, equivalent to 5 mg of azithromycin per kg body weight.

Oral.

The drug should be taken one hour before or two hours after the meal.
